● Watercolor or white paper
● 3/4” Masking tape
● Watercolor paint
● Paint brush
1. Cut watercolor paper into narrow strips. This example is 3” x 12”. Make a border around all the edges of the paper with masking tape.
3. Carefully remove tape and paint black tree and base of grass. Roll the brush between thumb and index finger as the brush is dragged at and angle across the paper to help create random and varying line width branches. Make the tree as tall as you like and break into white space border.
