You will need:
- Black construction paper
- Assortment of tempera paints
- Q-tips
- Small paper cups
1. Choose two contrasting colors for each of the circles. The colors should be opposite each other on the color wheel or be contrasting by light and dark.
2. Make one dot for the center of the circle. Then make dots of the contrasting color all around the first dot. Be careful not to have any of the dots touch each other but space them apart carefully. Continue alternating colored circles for about eight layers.
3. Make another dot on another section of the paper repeating the process with two new colors, varying the number of circles of colored dots.
4. Repeating the process, continue as if some of the circles are behind other circles or run off the page. Completely fill up the black sheet of paper with dots.
