- Any type of Sculpy, air dry or kiln clay
- Clay tools
- Wire
- Glaze or paint
1. Roll out clay to make a rectangular flat slab of clay about 1/4” thick.
2. With clay tools cut out the shape of the owl. Make sure to cut the top of the owl long enough to fold over, to create the head and beak.
3. Score beak, fold over top of clay making sure to leave a channel to put a wire through for hanging. (Flair the sides a bit to create the “ears.”)
4. Use extra clay to make, score and attach eyes. Add any additional feather details with tools. Glaze or paint owls to your preference.
